Express congratulations for the winner of the
first Grade in SEA and SUN, prize for painting, held between the
School Networks, participating in UNSECO, the competitors : Zaynab
Awni – Al Nasim District – Tunisia.
With
the initiative of the international day center, and under the care
of Dr. Atif Abdul Majeed , Manager of the regional office of Arabic
Boy Scot, it has been declared about the launch of the Arabic and
International Campaign (No. 4), for the cleaning of Wigaa El Bahir
Beach, under the Motto of “ Sea and sun” , in the occasion of the
International Environment Day, 5-6-2009, held in
Cairo.
Sea & Sun Campaign
The
competition will start among the Arabic Associations in :
14-10-2009, in the occasion of the Arab Environment day. The
Third campaign has witnessed the participation of 43
countries in almost all the activities in Photographing ,
drawings, and the Best Hotel as far as environment is
concerned, and maintain of the Maritime environment, and the
competition of the Diving Associations and Environmental
Associations and Boy scout Associations to obtain the Medal
of “ SEA AND SUN”
The campaign has been launched with
the initiative of the International Day, and it was started
locally in Tripoli, in Libya, then the Second Campaign, has
got a lot of other Libyan Cities , and at the Third one, the
companion was at the Mediterranean Leve , where about 43
countries ahs contributed.
Therefore, the Fourth Campaign ( Sea
and Sun), will be launched , and all are invited for
participations for the realization of the Elevated Goal
which is to Maintain the Maritime and ecological
Environment, and River Environment as well. Among its goals
are :
The role of joint team work for
decreasing the marine pollutants in time faster than
individual work.
The direction of the media to draw
attention on the pollution of the seas and rivers,
especially plastic waste, which adversely affect the
growth of marine organisms
Encouraging the sea tourism and
realizing that the sea is just a closed area and all the
countries overlooking it must maintain it.
